Webhook Workflow Stages, Slack Channels, and Azure Anthropic BYOK
The September 2026 weekly v2026.9.6 Aiden release adds webhook actions to workflow stages, Slack notification channels in the UI, custom Anthropic API URLs for Azure AI Foundry BYOK, and GitHub commits authored as the connected user. Grafana 11 queries and larger Knowledge Hub PDF uploads no longer fail mid-run.

What's New
Webhook Action in Workflow Stages
Workflow stages can call an external webhook as an action type.
Configure webhook settings on a step, including optional notes. Inputs from earlier stages are sanitized before they go out on the request.
See Workflows.
Custom Anthropic API URLs
You can point Anthropic-compatible providers at a custom API host, including Azure AI Foundry bring-your-own-key endpoints such as https://your-resource.services.ai.azure.com/anthropic.
Previously, Vault validation only probed GET /v1/models, which Foundry rejects, so you could not store ANTHROPIC_API_URL even when chat worked. Now, validation falls back to a messages auth probe when model listing is unsupported, and Aiden uses the custom URL for listing and inference. If listing still fails on a custom host, add the model ID manually (for example your Foundry deployment name).
See LLM Providers.
Slack Notification Channels
You can create and edit Slack notification channels in workspace settings, the same way you manage email channels.
Pick a synced Slack destination after you connect Slack and import channels. Attach those channels to automations (schedule or webhook) so completed or failed runs post as the Connect Slack bot.
GitHub Commits Use Your Identity
Previously, Aiden authored GitHub commits as the StackGen GitHub Bot. Now, when your GitHub integration provides user identity (including 3LO tokens), commits use that identity instead of the bot.
See GitHub.
What's Fixed
Querying Grafana 11 Fails
Previously, Platform and SRE paths could error when querying Grafana 11. Now, Grafana 11 is supported for those queries.
Knowledge Hub PDF Upload Heartbeat Timeout
Previously, larger PDF uploads to Knowledge Hub could finish conversion on the backend but fail in the UI with an activity heartbeat timeout. Now, long PDF conversions keep heartbeats alive so the upload can complete.
