Aiden for DevOps

Aiden for DevOps

Aiden for DevOps is the ticket-driven operations app in the workspace app rail. Open it by selecting Aiden DevOps. Tickets from your tracker land in a Requests Inbox. Aiden triages each one, then you approve and execute a workflow, or build a workflow when none matches.

Available for roles: Admin Workspace Admin Workspace User

Scope: Workspace

How it works

Follow this path the first time you set up a workspace, then use the same steps for day-to-day requests.

1. Enable the DevOps app

Turn on Aiden DevOps in Workspace Settings -> Apps so it appears in the app switcher for everyone in the workspace.

2. Configure an integration

Open Aiden DevOps -> Integrations (the onboarding screen if no tracker is connected yet). Connect any one issue tracker. StackGen is optional for infrastructure tools.

3. Tune intake filters and webhooks

In the Requests Inbox, open Configure Inbox to choose which tickets Aiden pulls in and how live updates arrive:

  • Projects / teams, assignees, and labels (or equivalent filters per tracker)
  • Webhook URL and signing secret for near-real-time creates and updates
  • Optional Auto post to ticket and Auto-mark ticket status

4. Review the request in the Requests Inbox

Matching tickets appear under Track -> Requests Inbox. Select a card to open triage: priority, source link, Aiden's analysis, and extracted service and environment.

5. Approve and execute, or build a workflow

On the request detail panel:

  1. Check Aiden's Triage and correct category, priority, service, or environment if needed.
  2. Confirm the matched workflow, or pick one under Workflow to run on approve.
  3. If nothing matches, use Describe Workflow to draft a reusable workflow from your team's SOP, then refine and publish it under Workflows.
  4. Click Approve & execute when the plan is safe to run.
