We have fixed an issue where GitHub MCP branching through Aiden could fail, including when you asked for branches with conversational prompts. That regression blocked SCM branching from the IDE whenever you relied on the assistant.

Branch operations now complete successfully for both scripted-style and natural-language requests, so you can manage Git branches next to assistant-driven work again. Teams with repeatable prompts can still copy them into an internal runbook so everyone stays aligned.
