Contact Points

Contact Points in Aiden allow you to define and manage destinations for notifications and alerts generated by your automated tasks and workflows. By configuring contact points, you can ensure that important updates, errors, or results are delivered to the right people or systems (e.g., email addresses, Slack channels, webhooks).

Use Cases

You can configure your contact points in workflows like tasks. This will allow you to:

  • Receive task execution results or errors via email.
  • Notify a team in Slack when a scheduled task completes.
  • Integrate with external systems using webhooks for custom automation.

Configure Contact Points

Follow these steps to configure Contact Points:

  1. From the StackGen Home page, navigate to Settings > Contact Points > Add Contact Point.

  2. Enter details like the Name, select the Type (email), and comma-separated email IDs of the contact points.

  3. To edit, delete, enable, or disable a contact point, use the action buttons corresponding to each contact point on the contact points page.
